Wetown Electric Group Co., Ltd. (688226.SHH), China’s supplier of distribution equipment, photovoltaic materials and energy storage systems, plans to invest 300 million yuan (USD 42 million) to build a 2GWh energy storage integrated manufacturing plant in Jiuquan, Gansu Province, China. The project is expected to be completed within a year and will lease 50 Mu (3.3 Hectare) of land and a factory building covering 20,000 square meters.
