China Baowu Carbon Technology Co., Ltd. conducted a thermal load test on the LZ1 production line of its 100,000-ton anode material factory in Lanzhou, marking the full operation of the first production line at the facility. The project, located in Lanzhou New Zone of Gansu Province, was built in two phases.
The first phase included the construction of a 50,000-ton/year anode production line and a 100,000-ton/year graphite (including calcination) production line. The second phase included the construction of another 50,000-ton/year anode production line and a factory building.
The LZ1 production line that was put into operation had a total length of 3 kilometers and was equipped with more than 200 devices. It could produce 1,000 tons of anode materials per hour and was mainly used to produce automotive power battery anode materials.
